Am tagged...

Being the lurker that I am, I chanced onto Anumita's blog, looking for updates, and found myself tagged to list down my favourites. So here they are and while am sure the people at the end of this post will prolly be groaning, please do indulge.

Total volume of music files on my computer: over 8 GB at work and lots of more at home which I have not counted

The last CD I bought was: Was a while back.. *straining to remember* the soundtrack of Ayitha Ezhuthu

Songs playing right now: M.Rafi; Soundtrack of Bunty Aur Babli; Umrao Jaan; Akon's Lonely and soundtrack of Parineeta

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that means a lot to me:
Tujhese Naraaz Nahi Zindagi from Masoom with music by RD Burman and lyrics by Gulzar - the words mean different things at different times, to me
Vincent by Don Maclean - again the words and sheer combination of the voice with the faint music
Mujhe Jaan Na Kahon Meri Jaan - from Basu Bhattarcharjee's Anubhav. A superb rendition by Geeta Dutt
Sound track of Umrao Jaan -for the words, music and pathos that always comes through
Ajeeb Dastan Hain Yeh - a Lata Mangeshkar song. Always gives me goosebumps.

Five people to whom I'm passing the baton:
Mukta So that she has one more reason to blog more frequently.
Abhimanyu So that he finally updates his blog and it stops making me feel like a fool while accessing it. :)
Sheece Am very curious about his favourite five.
Annie She just has to be kept in the loop!
Jabberwock Some one on this list who I know only in the blogging world and not in person.
